Family owned and operated since 1958, Luigi's is a Colorado Springs tradition for casual, cozy, family dining. Tired of 'chain' dining chaos? Tired of bars that 'serve food?' Luigi's is what you have been searching for!
Luigi's is the oldest family owned and operated restaurant in Colorado Springs. Leo & Anne Cervetti came to town in the early 50's. Leo was a brick layer and stone mason. He helped build the Air Force Academy Chapel. They started Luigi's in a small building adjacent to their home on E.Mill St. The name Luigi's came from Leo's grandfather. The recipes are from Leo's family. The menu was simple: pizza, pasta, salad. They worked hard, served a quality product, and treated people right. Luigi's moved to its current location in 1966, just up the block from the original location. Luigi's has been many things to our customers: a quiet, cozy getaway for a romantic dinner; a place you can take your kids and still have a good meal for yourself; the perfect setting for an elaborate business dinner; carry-out food you can feel good about eating. Our customers celebrate birthdays, engagements, weddings, graduations, funerals. Luigi's is truly a local place where friends meet to eat.The same people who first ate at the little diner on E. Mill St. are still customers. Their children and grandchildren are customers. Luigi's has the character and atmosphere that grew over 57 years of dedication to quality and hard work. Nothing is contrived or pretentious.Thank you for helping us continue our family tradition. Thank you for choosing Luigi's.
