Branding in the Digital Age
Branding aims to establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers. Okay, makes sense, but now what? How can you possibly brand in the fractured, increasingly digital world we live in? Why do you need to brand? How do you evaluate a brand's effectiveness? And, what about co-branding and rebranding? Camille Blakely, Partner and President of Blakely + Company, tackles these and more of your burning branding questions during our September luncheon. She'll even give a sneak peek into the process that's underway to freshen the brand identity of our own Southern Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce.
Camille Blakely is partner and president of Blakely + Company, a full-service advertising agency located in downtown Colorado Springs. A Colorado native, Camille grew up in Denver, spent high school in Brush, Colorado, where her family ran the local newspaper, and moved to Colorado Springs to attend Colorado College on a volleyball scholarship. She worked for the Colorado Springs Sun newspaper while attending CC and then for Springs Magazine as a writer and editor before moving into the advertising world. Camille spent most of her early career with Graham Advertising, traveling all over North America handling accounts, and joined Kyle, her husband, at Blakely + Company seven years ago. Camille is a graduate of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute (CSLI) and Leadership Pikes Peak (LPP) Signature Class, a UCCS Karen Possehl Women's Endowment Scholarship Program (KPWE) mentor and has served in leadership roles on many local non-profit boards including AspenPointe, The Rocky Mountain Women's Film Institute, American Red Cross, Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado and the UCCS Communications Department Advisory Board. Camille has been awarded the Brava Donna Award, Small Business Champion of the Year Award and the National Alliance on Mental Ilness (NAMI) Partner of the Year Award. She is an Athena and Accolades Business Leader of the Year Award finalist, a Colorado Behavioral Health Council Board Member of the Year nominee and has been named a Colorado Springs Business Journal (CSBJ) Woman of Influence.
