Do you have a gift for thinking outside the box? Special Kids Special Families (SKSF), a local Colorado Springs non-profit organization that provides programs for children and adults with disabilities, is seeking volunteers! Please consider volunteering in our programs (Adult Services or Zach's Place childcare center), working at our facilities helping with Administration duties (filing, faxing, copying), or help with our facility maintenance (gardening, cleaning, yardwork, etc..).
We also need volunteers to join one of SKSF’s fundraising event committees (Bowlathon - 3/7/2020 or Night of Comedy - held in the fall 10/12/19). Committee members are needed to attend monthly meetings and help with the overall activities of the event such as planning, decorating, organizing, seeking sponsorships & auction/drawing items. Effective fundraising committees are vital to the life and financial well-being of the organization. Members create, design and shape SKSF fundraising events. Help encourage support for the cause, build relationships and raise money to meet ongoing needs. SKSF is looking for active, productive and dedicated committee members to ensure the success of these events. Fundraising committee meetings are held at the SKSF Adult Services Conference room (3450 N Nevada Avenue, CO Springs) on a monthly basis. Contact us if interested at (719) 447-8983 or SKSF@sksfcolorado.org for date and time details.
