Summit for Protecting Kids Online
Preparing the people kids turn to first.
Online risks are part of everyday life for kids. Every app, game, social media platform, and device creates opportunities for connection and learning—but it can also expose young people to risks many adults have never had to navigate, let alone explain.
That’s why The Exodus Road is hosting the FREE Summit for Protecting Kids Online (SPKO) on Wednesday, October 21, at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs.
SPKO is a one-day summit designed to equip the people kids turn to first—including parents, caregivers, educators, counselors, coaches, youth leaders, and other trusted adults—with the confidence to recognize, respond to, and help prevent online harm.
Through expert-led sessions, you’ll learn how to:
- Recognize warning signs of grooming and other online dangers.
- Start age-appropriate conversations that build trust and invite honesty.
- Respond with confidence when something feels off and know what to do next.
Online harm is no longer an “if”—it’s a “when.” The question is whether the adults in young people’s lives are prepared to help.
Admission is FREE, lunch is included, and space is limited.
