Skills for Work-Shop: EMail Marketing Tools

Your contact list. As a business it might be the most valuable resource you have. It connects you directly to people who want to hear from you.

Come to this Skills for Work-Shop and learn ways to increase the effectiveness and impact of your email marketing.

In the first hour we'll cover:

• Popular tools (AWeber, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc)
• Standard features and how to use them
• What it means to use an opt-in
• How to manage multiple lists
• How to set up an autoresponder or drip campaign
• Using your results/metrics/reports to change and improve
• Encouraging people to sign up (this is not a marketing class, but we will cover some basic strategies)

The second hour will be a working session - with help! If you don't have an account set up with an email marketing company, you can set one up. If you do, spend some time using what you learned to make changes and try new things.

If you want to work during the second hour, please bring your laptop.
