Dr. Heidi Petak is passionate about helping leaders unlock the power of trust-based, shame-free communication strategies to foster a thriving culture, protect the bottom line, and shape enduring, high-performing teams. She holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Communication, as well as a B.S. in Broadcasting, and is the founder of Speak Eagle. Dr. Petak has taught for 4 universities and lectured around the world in South Africa, South Sudan, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Hungary and has coached top leaders and their teams in state governments and at Fortune 500 companies. She is a two-time, Dove Award-winning scriptwriter, and as a former radio DJ and voiceover artist, has recorded hundreds of commercials and phone greetings. She and her husband, Brian, live in Colorado Springs with their four boys, a possessive dog, and a one-eyed cat who challenge their communication skills daily.
