Program Topic: Thriving Through Change
While change is inevitable, we have been living through a time of unprecedented, rapid, and unsolicited change. There are complex feelings that go along with change as well as a variety of responses we can have towards it. Many of us are looking for better ways to manage change and support our mental and physical health in the process. One way to do this is to develop resilience.
Resilience is the capacity to recover from difficulties. It is not about being ‘tough’ or ‘pulling yourself up by your bootstraps’ but rather learning how to connect to your values, acknowledging and expressing your emotions, utilizing your resources, and developing healthy coping strategies.
In this engaging presentation, you will learn tangible ideas for how to cultivate your resilience so you can successfully navigate the challenges of life. The goal is not to just survive change, but to thrive through change.
