"Are You Paying Attention? Everyone Plays a Role in Workplace Safety”
Do you know what to do if faced with an active shooter or act of terrorism in your workplace? What threat assessment and prevention strategies do you have in place? Violence is a byproduct of the interaction between the physical setting, triggering conditions, and individual factors, and there are recognizable indicators to violence–if you know what to look for. Paying attention or “situational awareness” is an essential part of violence prevention and active shooter response planning. We’ll explore situational awareness and important actions you can take to stay safe in an increasingly violent world.
