Last year, one of the most popular Curious Palate Tasting Classes was the Scotch tasting, AND we are going to revisit this magical country, its sensational spirit and celebrate its unique heritage...did you know its national animal is the unicorn? (It must be so, Google said so!)
A Scotch tasting is sophisticated and relaxing - even a Scottish scholar by the name of David Daiches, once wrote, "The proper drinking of Scotch whiskey is more than indulgence, it is a toast to civilization." Perhaps no other distilled spirit has as many different tastes and nuances as Scotch and while we’ve taste toured Scotland...we’ll do it again with a different spin...we’ll explore such nuances blind and test our palates together!
The Curious Palate is a tasting class that is designed to explore the world of wine, beer and spirits; connect to history; and learn your palate in an intimate atmosphere. The Curious Palate has two gatherings per month; both from 5:30 to 7:00pm. On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, we feature a class on Spirits or Brews; on the 4th Wednesday we feature a class on Wine.
Space is limited and reservations are required. Exchange: $25.00 per person per tasting and includes the beverage tasting, paired lite bites, and engaging education. To reserve space at any of the Curious Palate Tasting Club events go to http://tinyurl.com/Curious-Palate-2013
