Heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year. This means women - mothers, sisters, friends - are dying at the rate of one per minute because they don’t know what you know: heart disease kills. The 11th annual Go Red For Women Education Day will be held Friday, September 20, 2013, at the Antlers Hilton. The event will feature health screenings, educational display booths, an expert medical panel, silent auction, luncheon and a program to inform women about their No. 1 killer.
