DESCRIPTION:Program Topic: Elevated by Art\n\nAngela Seals is the Deputy Director of COPPeR (Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region). In her position\, she produces and hosts the "Peak Radar Live" online show and podcast\, as well as coordinates the Office's fund raising and its annual Business + Arts Lunch. During the pandemic\, she has worked to ensure all citizens understand the need for the Arts in the Pikes Peak region - it generates $153.3 million in economic activity. She will speak on the Elevated by Arts Campaign\, being launched in October\, which will invite us to reflect on how the arts heal\, uplift and strengthen us when we need it most - especially during a pandemic. As Deputy Director of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region\, Angela produces and hosts the "Peak Radar Live" online show and "Peak Radar Live: Later" podcast\, coordinates the Cultural Office's arts funding program\, Peak Arts Prize\, and co-coordinates the annual Business + Arts Lunch with the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC. She is project manager for the Arts Vision 2030 cultural planning initiative across the region that will launch once the pandemic passes. She currently serves on the City of Colorado Springs' Lodging and Auto Rental Tax committee and Public Art Master Plan steering committee. She is a graduate of Leadership Pikes Peak and the Arts Education Collaborative Leadership Academy.
