SUMMARY:SCWCC Sunset Meet & Greet
DESCRIPTION:Join the Southern Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce\, local chambers and partnered business organizations for an evening of networking\, food\, wine\, giveaways and education! Don't miss our special guest appearance from Rick Baker from the Becky Baker Foundation in honor of breast cancer awareness month. \n\nAbout Bank of Colorado\n\nFamily Owned and Community Focused\n\nThe communities we're a part of make us who we are. That started back in 1900 and continues today.\n\n\n\nAs one of the oldest banks in Colorado\, our first charter was issued in Ft. Lupton. While the name of the bank may have changed throughout the years\, our genuine approach has always been the same.\n\n\n\nIn 1978\, we became a part of a larger family of local banks started by the Dinsdale family during the Great Depression. The economic hardships took their toll on the people and the banks in Palmer\, Nebraska. So brothers George and Tom Dinsdale\, along with some friends\, decided to do something. They pulled their resources together to open a bank for their community.\n\n\n\nThey ran their bank much like they ran their farms\, which helped them earn people's trust. So it didn't take long before they were ready to reach out to other towns and states\, including Colorado.\n\n\n\nToday\, Bank of Colorado serves communities throughout the Eastern Plains\, the Front Range\, the Western Slope and the Four Corners Region. Although we've grown\, we still greet you by name and answer our calls in person. We even make the latest conveniences available\, like online and mobile banking. But many of our customers still prefer to stop by one of our branches and talk to the bankers they've known all their lives.\n\nAbout the Becky Baker Foundation\n\nWe believe that the best way to beat breast cancer is by preventing breast cancer. The most effective means to this end is with annual thermograms or mammograms. The BBF offers these services free of charge to those who cannot afford them.\n\n\n\nWe want to educate every woman in America about the importance of preventing breast cancer in their bodies. Our foot-in-the-door is our free screening offer. This is the first step for many women\, and once they actually move forward with their checkup\, we offer them the continuing education they need to take care of their body and most likely avoid breast cancer in the future. We also offer continuing education for the male loved-ones of all women. We have learned that most men do not have a working understanding of breast cancer and how this evil disease infects so many women.\n\n\n\n\n\nGenerally\, Meet & Greets offer open networking throughout the period\, following this timeline:\n\n\n\n5:00p - Welcome & registration\n\n5:30p - Opening remarks\n\n6:00p - Host / venue tour\n\n6:30p - Prize drawings
