SUMMARY:SCWCC Business Lunch | Margaret Sabin
DESCRIPTION:Luncheon is SOLD OUT - NO walk-ins\, please! \n\n\n\nJoin us to welcome Margaret Sabin\, President and CEO of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services\, who will share her thoughts on "Finding and Nurturing Your Passion."\n\n With the busy lives we all lead\, it can be hard to make the choices that lead to better health. Finding time to exercise\, making the effort to prepare a healthy meal\, or getting enough sleep can all be a challenge.\n\n\n\nThe key to making those healthy choices is knowing your "why." The only way anyone will be successful in maintaining a healthy lifestyle is to have a reason something that really means a lot to motivate them from within.\n\nMargaret will discuss "finding your why" and then provide insight in how to maintain your body\, mind and spirit in a way that you can nurture your passion and continue to do all of the things you love and that add meaning to your life. She will also briefly discuss her vision for healthcare in our community and take a few questions.\n\n\nSupport the EPIC Book Drive too ... Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC) has joined forces with Lt. Governor Garcia and a coalition of partners to lead a statewide book drive for children from birth to eight years old. The goal is to create public awareness of the importance of summer reading with an adult.\n\nLocally\, Shannon Gast has offered to coordinate a "lunch pickup" of children's books that are donated at this month's luncheon ... so let's all pitch in to deliver plenty of books for her to collect! \n\nLong-time SCWCC members have signed on to support the Colorado Business Reads effort\, including Cascade Investment Group\, Colorado Springs Health Partners\, Colorado Springs Utilities and United Way. Download a flyer for more details \n\n \n\nThe SCWCC hosts a Luncheon and Business Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month\, featuring an expert speaker and a great program designed to provide insight into topics of interest to our community.\n\n\n\nReserve the third Tuesdays every month\, then check SCWCC.com for the latest about each upcoming luncheon\, as details are confirmed.\n\n\n\nApproximate program timeframe:\n\n11:00a - Registration & open networking\n\n11:30a - SCWCC Announcements\n\n11:45a - Luncheon service\n\n12:15p - Program remarks & featured speaker\n\n1:00p - Event concludes\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued without 72 hours advance notice.
